19/9 - Florence & Pisa

Woke up in the early morning, continue our journey to Florence and Pisa today. Here is again, today need to walk and walk and walk, from front to end, tiring trip as expected. The first destination – Florence, about two hours time from our hotel to there, visited to the world biggest St. Mary Church – St. Mary of the Flowers church, this church is so huge, marvelous and awesome. I love the architecture building design; it is so classic and historical. After that visited to the Door of Paradise, the Signoria Square, the Uffizzi Galley, the Ponte Vecchio, the statues of David is a must and the Equestrain statue of the Duke of Tuscany. One thing you must remember, Italy is so famous with the Gelato or any other brand of ice-creams, the ice-cream so tantalizing and delicious. Try the ice-cream under the hot sun so relaxing. Today I tried the Coconut flavor (cocoa in Italian language) and Tiramisu ice-cream, rate four stars. The tiramisu flavor slightly sweetened, but it is still nice.

After that we took another two hours headed to PISA, passing the most beautiful region once again of Tuscany. It is so beautiful, that even Tony Blair takes regular annual holiday here in the local villa with his family. About 4.30pm reached PISA and need to walk along the far distance into “miracle square” where it boosts of the three of the world wonders – The Leaning Tower, The Baptistery and the Cathedral, all in the Cararra White marble. Can you imagine how cool is it? The cemetery next to it has soil brought back in the Middle Ages from the Holy-land. We just take photos around the Pisa tower; buy some souvenirs, because the ticket up to the Leaning tower is damn expensive!!

About 6pm, all of us assembled again and get ready back to our hotel, another two hours again. Everyone hunger in the journey, yet had fun as well. Some telling some joke, even cold joke, singing, clapping, chit-chatting… Tonight our dinner provided by the hotel, Italian style, pasta as the starter, following by steak (actually is a piece of chicken chop and some potato) and lime sorbet. Of course, a nice meal couldn’t miss out the best red wine.

Tomorrow will be heading to Milan and following by Lake Lucerne… good night! (:

P/s: my phone really out of credit and UK number couldn’t top up at Europe, sorry for no reply, to all my dearest and family. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible when I reach London or once I manage to top up at Europe here

-Stay tune-
