16/9 - Austria

Last night the hotel rooms in Reutte make us so comfy, the pillow was made by the goose hair; it’s so valuable and expensive. Some of us slept quite late and we really had fun in Austria last night. We played the DSLR camera function, double effect, pika-pika (the latest Japanese fun stuff). This family-owned hotel so comfy and friendly, I love Austria so much, I think I’d left my soul at Austria. Along the way to Innsbruck, a small township in Austria, the scene so beautiful and wonderful, the hills, even can see some of the top of hill full with snow! Suppose start snowing around October, but this year the winter has come early. From Reutte to Innsbruck about 100km and I never fall asleep in this 2hours time. Appreciate the every single moment and enjoyed this wonderful Austria scenery. It is cool, wonderful, and beautiful, I really couldn’t express my feeling from my bottom heart, ha-ha!

Pass through Fernpass, there’s a beautiful lake, the water so blue, it is so relaxing. How can Austria’s scene so beautiful? They have only 180,000 populations, they really strictly protect their plant, flowers and environment; its place so clean, fresh and you definitely will be attracted by this perfect picture. Reached Innsbruck, it is a small township with her old town lined with the charming shops and cafes. Bear in mind, the 1976 winter ski competition has been held over here, but what a pity, it is under reconstruction now, and we couldn’t pay there a visit. We saw the Old town with the balcony of Maximellium of 15th century. It has resembles a stage set and the purpose of the balcony was meant for the Duke to speak down to his subject or being adored and admired by them. One of the most outstanding elements of the balcony is non-other than its roof – The Golden Roof of Innsbruck, it is now recognized as the symbol of the township.

Along the way to the Old town, we also saw the Arch of Tears and Laughter whereby the King had passed away while his prince get marriage at the same time. So that people named it as the Arch of Tears and Laughter. For your information, Austria is the home of the world famous Swarovski crystal. Actually the Swarovski was originated at Prague but it was set up at Austria. They are my favorite, my love! *wink* we visited to the oldest and biggest Swarovski building, I love the decoration and design, especially you can find out lots of display and wonderful decoration at the lower ground floor. We feel glad that we had the chance to marvel at the endless creation of Swarovski products from the local show room. And we saw the ‘Dragon’ display which is not for sale! Had our lunch in one of the restaurant, what a huge pizza with only 3.30euro, I really salute you if you can finish this one big portion! One things need to highlighted, my favorite musician – MOZART’s birth place! We saw his accommodation that he stayed with his father previously.

Heading to Italy finally, route via Bozano, Verona and Vicenza. Definitely need to visit to the Balcony of the Romeo and Juliet, and trying to recall their dramatic love story of this pair of lovers torn apart by family feud. The millennium of coliseums so grand and marvelous, and I guess the Rome one will even better than. After had our dinner at one of the Chinese restaurant, heading back to our hotel and have a good rest. Good night, people. Get ready for tomorrow’s trip at Venice!
