First destination, we visit to the world smallest state – Vatican City, it has only 108 acres and 1000 population. It is the capital of the 800 million Catholic around the world. Although it is located inside the Rome city center, yet it had independent it and no passport required as if you want to visit to Vatican City. It had separated itself with the fence, and once you cross over the fence, you are in the Rome though. All the tourists need to take consideration on the dress code, of course over knee length and have proper outfit. I’m just feeling like back to my home, can see my name everywhere anywhere around Rome, e.g. angelic, Angelo, angels, so on and so forth. We entered into the biggest church in the world; we saw the Pieta by Michelangelo, St Mary and Jesus Christ, the Life and Death and the imposing Bronze Altar both by Bernini; and of course the reproduction of Transfiguration by Rafaello on one of the walls in the Cathedral.
Once we meet up, had our quick lunch and continue our tour. We then continue to walk to the following places of interests. We visited to Lots of places, such as Coliseum, the Forum, the Venice Square and the Wedding Cake monument, the Navona Square, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. I love Rome, which is abundance of those marvelous and grand historical buildings. If you have watch the Angels and Demons which showed past couple of months, you will experience the true feeling when you standing right in front of the Coliseum. It is so grand, huge, and marvelous and I do love it!
We departed on 7.30am this early morning, and get home about 9.30pm, it’s mean we had walked through everywhere and anywhere in Rome almost twelve hours; in addition, we were under the hot sun and so uncomfortable with sweaty! Need to rest properly tonight and get prepare for tomorrow trip to Pisa and Florence. Good night. Hugs.
“为什么意大利那么热?”- According to the geographical theory, Italy was located at a lower place as compared to UK. The TRUE answer is more than that, err, 因为意大利的太阳比较大,‘一 大粒’的太阳当然比较热!*LOLz*
