Today all of us woke up early and travelling towards Olympic city of Munich after had our breakfast. It took 3hours time to reach the destination, 300km, isn’t short distance right? We stop at Munich Olympic stadium for a while, it is the spot for the 1972 Olympic games, the Germans, not only created a mini landscape of South Germany’s Bavaria state out from the old air field, developers actually utilized the debris of the 2nd war, to fill this vast land. So that, today we can see lakes, hill and open gardens, gracing the site. All of us just walked around at the park for a while and take some photos, yet there’s another interesting spot cross over the road – Bavaria Motor Works (BMW). The BMW building really cool and marvelous, and it looks grand and nice. A variety of cars displayed in the show room and hall.
After that, we enter into the Munich city center and perhaps can catch our time to watch the lively clock striking the hour. But, what a pity, all of us couldn’t make it. We were late! Walked around in the town, it’s nice, crowded, especially in front of the New Town Hall. It always described as the New Town Hall, but actually it has more than hundred years old. Anyway, I really love the Town Hall architecture design, it’s grand and I love that kind of feeling when I’m standing in front of it. Had our quick lunch – of course need to try the famous local food – German Sausage! The local way of eating: take a bread & sausage and spread some mustard *thumb up* of course, couldn’t miss out the local beer (Weisse beer), its Oktoberfest right now, drinking is a must! Ha-ha. Then, we heading to New Swan castle, the marvel at the fairy-tale. Went up the hill by mini bus, cost us 1.80Euro, when you up to the hill, from the top, you can enjoy the scenery, as pretty and vivid as the posters.
Back to my fairy-tale dreamland, good night people, I heart Austria.
