25-Feb - Kinabalu Park - Apit

Tried to get up in the early morning to catch the sunrise, too bad, the haze is too heavy and my eyelids really heavy as well. Can't denied, i-am-just-a-lazy-bug! LOLz. Hmmm, what a beautiful scenery with slightly cold weather here. A set of American breakfast and cup of hot coffee, hmmmm, so warm! Well, enjoy the scenery of greeny forest, dews and some bird chirping. Heading to Kinabalu Park after we had our breakfast. I'd searched a lots of information about Sabah, of course here we come to have a look on the so-called majestic view of Mt. Kinabalu. Well, what I can say is.... from yesterday noon until the time I left here, I can't even see the mount at all due to too heavy haze. Phewww, such a bad timing! We spent almost 3 hours from Apit town to Kundasang here, we can't even get the chance to see it. Anyway, perhaps I get the chance to come back here again, of course, it must be SUNNY DAY when i'm back! Kinabalu Park - Malaysia's 1st world heritage site. It costs RM3 entrance fees to get into Kinabalu Park, don't worry, it's safe to trek here. The trek is in proper-built and also you can seek for the guide to lead you to explore in the park. Here, you can see a lots of people get ready to challenge and conquer the Mount Kinabalu! To enter into the Botanic Garden, you need to pay about RM3 for the ticket. Hmmm, there's nothing much inside there, most of the plants are wild species and they are being protected by the world heritage association. Too bad, I don't manage to see any Rafflesia here.

After we spent few hours here, we decided return to Apit town. Suppose there's another tourist spot to go - Poring Hotspring. Oh yea, you may stop-by when you see a lots of stalls along the roadside. It is Nabalu Market, which is selling handicraft, fruit, etc. And we also stopped by Tuaran town to get the local famous food - Mee Tuaran. Too bad, the shop has closed! Why lahhh... seems not so bad luck heh! OKay, continue our journey back to Apit town. Okay, we had our lunch at one of the famous restaurant at Apit - Yee Fung restaurant which is located at Gaya street. Their famous and recommended food - Curry Laksa. Again, the foods here really ain't cheap though.

Check-in hotel and we are really satisfy with the room's layout, design and decoration. The most important is, it is sea-view! Anyway, I don't recommend people to stay here due to.. actually the hotel is located in the shopping mall, and the parking fees here really bloody expensive. It's calculated by hours and about RM10 to park overnight here. Anyhow, the hotel did paid partial of it, and yet I still don't recommend this hotel if you've your own transport here.

''Hey!!! Have a look here!!!'' *wink*
