Day 1 : Newcastle - Edinburgh

Thursday midnight, 12am, all of departed from Sheffield, heading to Scotland after picked up everyone. The whole journey takes almost 6~7hours, well, stop by at Newcastle for a while and visit to the biggest statue in the world - Angel of the North. Yupz, my place, my heaven and my statue. haha. Too bad, it's too dark, hard to see the statue from far, even more worst if wanna take photo with it. Further another 15minutes, we had reached Newcastle Gateshead Millennium Bridge. It also referred as the 'winking eye bridge' due to its unique design and shape! (:
The biggest statue in the world, which have 20m heights!

Newcastle night view, a very nice and elliptical shape.

Well, continue our journey to Scotland, first destination - Edinburgh and reached at 6.30am. It's freaking cold at Scotland, really much colder as compared to Sheffield. Firstly, washed up at the public train station and had our breakfast there, let's drink a cup of hot mocha in the cold really make me warm! 7.30am, start our journey - Calton Hill, Edinburgh Old Town, Queen's Gallery, New Town, Princes Street, St. John Church, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Scottish Whisky Merchant, Museum of Childhood, Dynamic world, etc. Edinburgh, is the capital city of Scotland and it is the second largest city after Glasgow.

early in the morn, at Train station.
our group photo, all of us, in front of Queen's Gallery.
the smallest scottish whisky in the world.

Had our brunch/lunch at The Haggis Cafe, experienced the famous local Scottish food - Haggis with Neeps and Tattlis. I feel that it is quite nice and delicious, but some people feel that it is kinda disgust, don't think of the little cute sheep when you try on it. haha. After that continue our journey and visit to the Edinburgh Castle and New Town to do some shopping.

Our coach picked us up at 3.30pm and heading to the whisky distillery - Glenkinchie Distillery! I'd learned and experienced lots of process of making Scottish famous whisky and we have the chance to tried on their local made whisky. Three core ingredients of the whisky - yeast, water and malted-barley. The whisky taste good and warm, but it make me even more sick after i tried on it!! My hoarse/sexy voice~~~~

A very tired journey throughout the day and back to our hotel at Glasgow.

Eventually, fell sick seriously .............................................. miss out the chance to enjoy and experience the night view at Glasgow. Take medicine and go to bed. Good night!
