Medan - Parapat

As usual, Air Asia used to delay flight most of the time. But not too bad this time, at least they did informed us few weeks in advance. But still, plan has been dragged. Well, lets bygone be bygone. There's 3 gangs, Yinchang & KokTai from Penang; Nicas & Jazz Saturday earliest flight, and Me, Ievon & Yeechean departed at 2pm. Less than 1 hour check-in, we failed to use the kiosk to check in. Luckily, we bought the ticket since long longggggggggggg time ago, therefore we never fined for counter check-in fees. It's just a very short journey from Kuala Lumpur to Medan, takes about 45 minutes, and the flight only serve juices and drinks!

Well, landed in Polonia International Airport, Medan, Indonesia.

Surprisingly, the airport really SMALL and once we came out from the plane, maybe i would say 500m walkway, it's immigration department. Further up 50m, you can just claim your baggage. One thing to be watch out is, the indon people seems helpful, help you to carry the baggage, but bare in mind, there's NO FREE LUNCH in this world. They all only will ask for TIPS TIPS TIPSSSSSSSSSSSS!

We still need to wait for the Penang-ian, therefore three of us rest and have some light food in a restaurant. Too bad, nothing much choices here. And seems messy and frankly speaking, it's in very bad and serious air pollution.

OK, everyone is here! Get ready and heading to Lake Toba, Parapat!

Oh my god, the only word we can say is, DANGEROUS! their driving skill, morals and attitude on road really bad. Non stop horn to each others, jump queue without signal, bad road condition, so on and so forth. From Medan to Lake Toba, 5 hours drive in a very dangerous and dark night, non of us can sleep peacefully. We arrived at hotel almost mid night, around 12am. Good night world.
